The problem we're solving:
Lithium-ion batteries are deeply entrenched into our everyday lives, however recycling rate of lithium-ion batteries are extremely low. Adding on to the problem, current industrial lithium-ion battery recycling practices have a high carbon footprint and generate significant amounts of toxic waste that needs to be treated responsibly and at a cost. The lithium-ion battery recycling industry is thereby unsustainable both environmentally and financially.Our solution:
At Li-VEco, we lead the charge in sustainable lithium-ion battery (LIB) recycling. Li-VEco uses proprietary green technology, which repurpose biomass waste to extract critical metals from spent LIB for reuse by battery manufacturers. With the unique approach, our process produces sludge output that is non-toxic and converted into a second product for environmental remediation. Our solution brings forth decarbonization, zero-waste outcome and sustainability to the LIB recycling space.
Our differentiator:
Li-VEco uses a waste-for-waste approach to achieve cross circular-economy in lithium-ion battery recycling. Our technology eliminates the toxic waste output from typical industrial recycling processes, producing a second product for environmental remediation. Due to the unconventional process, Li-VEco does not function as a typical battery recycling business. We bring to the table a sustainable and unique de-risked B2B business model with diversified revenue streams.
Our biggest achievement:
Our startup has gained significant traction in the industry with renown companies, such as MNCs electronics manufacturers, battery manufacturers to EV manufacturers. The biggest achievement to date is securing a pilot project with a renown MNC electronics manufacturer within 4 months of incorporation, prior to our debut.
